Fatiha reading process is a common Islamic practice performed to seek blessings, mercy, and peace for the deceased & esaal e sawab in islam. It is a method of supplication (Dua) that involves reciting verses from the Holy Quran, particularly Surah Al-Fatiha, and offering prayers for the soul of the departed. Fatiha can also be recited on various occasions to seek Allah’s blessings and protection.
Fatiha procedure in Arabic
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوْلُ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَّبِّهٖ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۚ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَ مَلٰٓىٕكَتِهٖ وَ كُتُبِهٖ وَ رُسُلِهٖ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رُّسُلِهٖ وَ قَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَ اَطَعْنَا ۚ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ اِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ .لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ عَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۚ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَاۤ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَاۤ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَاۤ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ ۚ وَ اعْفُ عَنَّا ۪ وَ اغْفِرْ لَنَا ۪ وَ ارْحَمْنَا ۪ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ
لَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ عَزِيْزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيْصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ .فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ ۖ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
يٰسٓ .وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ الْحَكِيْمِ .اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ .عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ .تَنْزِيْلَ الْعَزِيْزِ الرَّحِيْمِ .لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّاۤ اُنْذِرَ اٰبَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ .لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰۤى اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ .اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِيْۤ اَعْنَاقِهِمْ اَغْلٰلًا فَهِيَ اِلَى الْاَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُوْنَ .وَ جَعَلْنَا مِنْۢ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيْهِمْ سَدًّا وَّ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَيْنٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ عٰلِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۚ هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِيْمُ .هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوْسُ السَّلٰمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ .هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰى ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهٗ مَا فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ ۚ وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِيْ بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلٰي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرُ .اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيٰوةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ اَيُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْغَفُوْرُ .اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَا تَرٰى فِيْ خَلْقِ الرَّحْمٰنِ مِنْ تَفٰوُتٍ ۚ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرٰى مِنْ فُطُوْرٍ .ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنْقَلِبْ اِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَّهُوَ حَسِيْرٌ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اَلْهٰىكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ .حَتّٰى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ .كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ .ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ .كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِيْنِ .لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيْمَ .ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِيْنِ .ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَىٕذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الْكٰفِرُوْنَ .لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ .وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ .وَ لَاۤ اَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدْتُّمْ .وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ .لَكُمْ دِيْنُكُمْ وَ لِيَ دِيْنِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌ .اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ.لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُوْلَدْ.وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ .Read 3 times
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ .مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ .وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ .وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ .وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ .
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ .مَلِكِ النَّاسِ.اِلٰهِ النَّاسِ .مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ .الَّذِيْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِيْ صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِ .مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ .
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ .الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ .مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ .اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ .اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ .صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۙ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّيْنَ .آمِين
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
الٓمّٓ .ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛۚ فِيْهِ ۛۚ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ.الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَ يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَ مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ .وَ الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَ مَاۤ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ .اُولٰٓئِكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ .
وَاِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّاحِدٌ ۚ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِيْمُ .
اِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللّٰهِ قَرِيْبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ .
وَمَاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ اِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ .
مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ اَبَاۤ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رِّجَالِكُمْ وَ لٰكِنْ رَّسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ وَ خَاتَمَ النَّبِيّٖنَ ؕ وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمًا .
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَ مَلٰٓىٕكَتَهٗ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَي النَّبِيِّ ۚ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا .
اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَاحِبِ التَّاجِ وَالْمِعْرَاجِ وَالْبُرَاقِ وَالْعَلَمِ، دَافِعِ الْبَلَاءِ وَالْوَبَاءِ وَالْقَحْطِ وَالْمَرَضِ وَالْاَلَمِ، .اِسْمُهُ مَكْتُوْبٌ مَرْفُوْعٌ مَشْفُوْعٌ مَنْقُوْشٌ فِي اللَّوْحِ وَالْقَلَمِ، سَيِّدِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ، جِسْمُهُ مُقَدَّسٌ، مُعَطَّرٌ، مُطَهَّرٌ. مُنَوَّرٌ فِي الْبَيْتِ وَالْحَرَمِ، شَمْسِ الدُّجٰي بَدْرِ الدُّجٰي صَدْرِ الْعُلٰي نُوْرِ الْهُدٰي، كَهْفِ الْوَرٰي مِصْبَاحِ الظُّلٰمِ، جَمِيْلِ الشِّيَمِ، شَفِيْعِ الْاُمَمِ، صَاحِبِ الْجُوْدِ وَالْكَرَمِ. وَاللّٰهُ عَاصِمُهٗ وَجِبْرِيْلُ خَادِمُهٗ وَالْبُرَاقُ مَرْكَبُهٗ وَالْمِعْرَاجُ سَفَرُهٗ وَسِدْرَةُ الْمُنْتَهٰي مَقَامُهٗ وَقَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ مَطْلُوْبُهٗ وَالْمَطْلُوْبُ مَقْصُوْدُهٗ وَالْمَقْصُوْدُ مَوْجُوْدُهٗ،
سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ شَفِيْعِ الْمُذْنِبِيْنَ اَنِيْسِ الْغَرِيْبِيْنَ رَحْمَةٍ لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ. رَاحَةِ الْعَاشِقِيْنَ مُرَادِ الْمُشْتَاقِيْنَ شَمْسِ الْعَارِفِيْنَ سِرَاجِ السَّالِكِيْنَ مِصْبَاحِ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ مُحِبِّ الْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْغُرَبَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ سَيِّدِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ نَبِيِّ الْحَرَمَيْنِ إِمَامِ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ . وَسِيلَتِنَا فِي الدَّارَيْنِ صَاحِبِ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ مِحْبُوْبِ رَبِّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبِّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ، جَدِّ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ، مُوْلٰنَا وَمَوْلَى الثَّقَلَيْنِ، اَبِى الْقَاسِمِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ، نُوْرٍ مِّنْ نُّوْرِ اللّٰهِ، يَا اَيُّهَا الْمُشْتَاقُوْنَ بِنُوْرِ جَمَالِهِ،بَلَغَ العُلىٰ بِكَمَالِهِ، كَشَفَ الدُجىٰ بِجَمَالِهِ، حَسُنَتْ جَمِيعُ خِصَالِهِ، صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا.
Fatiha process in english
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, saying, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they said, “We hear and we obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the final return.”
Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has earned, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has committed. “Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place a burden upon us like the one You placed upon those before us. God, do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Certainly, a messenger has come to you from among yourselves. Your suffering distresses him, he is concerned for your well-being, and he is kind and merciful to the believers. But if they turn away, say: “Allah is sufficient for me. There is no deity except Him. I have relied upon Him, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
Ya-Sin. By the wise Qur’an, indeed, you [O Prophet] are among the messengers, on a straight path. [This is] a revelation from the Almighty, the Most Merciful, so that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, and so they are unaware.
He is Allah—there is no deity except Him.
Allah is the Knower of the unseen and the seen. Allah is the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
God, the Sovereign, the Holy, the Source of Peace, the Bestower of Faith,
the Overseer, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent. [He is the One] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deeds, and He is the Almighty, the Most Forgiving.
The competition for worldly increase has distracted you until you visit the graves. No! You will soon come to know.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Say: “O disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.”
Say: “He is Allah, [who is] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
Say: “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.”
Say: “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer.who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind—from among the jinn and mankind.”
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path.the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor. not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.
O Allah, send peace, blessings, and mercy upon our master, our leader, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), who is the bearer of the crown, the ascension, the Buraq, and the banner.who removes distress, diseases, hardships, and pain.whose name is written in the Tablet and the Pen.
who is the leader of Arabs and non-Arabs—who is the illuminating lamp of Makkah and Madinah.the intercessor and the forgiver. O Allah, send peace and blessings upon him, his family, and his noble companions forever and ever.
May Allah grant us the ability to act upon these verses. Ameen!
